Our First Date
I was super excited but also worried at the same time.
What if she doesn’t look the same in person as on her dating profile photos?
She was around 20 minutes late, and I wasn’t really happy about that but I decided to wait.
When she came I was surprised, because she actually looked much prettier in person than in her photos.
We spent 45 minutes in a coffee shop chatting and then walking in the park.
We clicked right away and before I even got home I received a text from her thanking me for the date.
The next day was actually her birthday and she invited me to come over.
After that, we had one more date and we were officially boyfriend and girlfriend in less than a week.

Still Together
It was almost 8 years since that time but we are still together.
The interesting fact is that she was the first girl I went on a date with after breaking up with my ex.
Before meeting my girlfriend, I didn’t believe that it was possible to meet a long-term partner online and thought that the best you can get will be a short fling.
I always tell my single friends to give online dating a try, especially if they were single for a long time.
There is not much to lose, because their current approach to dating isn’t working and it is time to try something new.
